Tata Realty appoints Gaurav Jain as new MD and CEO
Tata Realty & Infrastructure Ltd has named real estate veteran Gaurav Jain as its Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1st. Jain takes over from Sanjay Dutt, who has led the Tata Sons subsidiary since April 2018.

Gaurav Jain, who brings more than two decades of experience in India's real estate sector, will steer Tata Realty & Infrastructure Ltd (TRIL) through its next expansion phase. The appointment of Jain, 23-plus years deep in residential and commercial property development, marks a transition at the helm of one of the country's leading real estate developers.
Jain's professional journey spans several major industry players, including tenures at Birla Estates, Godrej Properties, Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd, and Unitech Group. His appointment comes as TRIL, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Private Ltd, seeks to deepen its presence across India's urban real estate landscape.
As MD and CEO, Jain will prioritize strengthening TRIL's organizational capabilities while advancing the company's strategic vision centred on high-quality, sustainable, and future-ready urban development. The company has emphasized his expertise in navigating both residential and commercial real estate segments, positioning him to lead the firm's growth agenda.
Praveer Sinha, Chairman of TRIL, endorsed Jain's appointment, citing his extensive expertise and track record in the real estate sector. Sanjay Dutt, the outgoing MD and CEO, led TRIL for approximately six years following his appointment in April 2018.
