Tata Steel's consolidated revenue climbed 11.5 per cent to Rs 65,436 crore in the quarter, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) expanded 14 per cent sequentially to Rs 10,665 crore, signalling accelerating momentum in the company's core business segments.
The steelmaker's India operations emerged as the primary growth engine during the period, capitalising on steady domestic demand and improved realisations. The country's steel sector has benefited from sustained infrastructure spending and manufacturing activity, which underpinned volumes and pricing across Tata Steel's domestic footprint.
The sequential improvement in EBITDA margins reflects better operational efficiency and cost management initiatives implemented across the company's production facilities. Tata Steel has been executing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and optimising its cost structure in an increasingly competitive global steel market.
The company's performance comes as India's steel industry continues to navigate global economic uncertainties. Domestic steelmakers have focused on expanding capacity and improving product quality to capture growing demand from construction, automotive and industrial sectors within the country.
