Teachers' body pushes state to restore tribunal for faster dispute resolution

The federation's appeal underscores growing frustration within the education sector over prolonged legal proceedings. Proponents of tribunal revival contend that such bodies have historically proven effective in handling employment-related disputes and administrative matters specific to government servants, including teachers.

The state government has not yet responded formally to the federation's request. Officials indicated that the matter requires examination of administrative and budgetary considerations before any decision on restoring the tribunal mechanism can be announced.
