COTABATO CITY — A stabbing incident inside a classroom has left a teenage student injured in General Santos City. The victim, a 15-year-old Grade 8 pupil, was wounded during the altercation at Buayan National High School in Barangay Buayan on Monday morning.

Police authorities said the alleged attacker is an 18-year-old Grade 11 student. Colonel Ariel Acala, city police director, said responding units arrived at the school in Purok 1 shortly after receiving an emergency call about the incident.

Details regarding the motive behind the stabbing and the nature of injuries sustained by the victim were not immediately disclosed. The case remains under investigation by local police as authorities work to establish the exact circumstances that led to the confrontation between the two students.
