Telangana Medical Students End Protest After Infrastructure Deal

Medical students at Government Medical College (GMC) Jagtial in Telangana have ended their protest after reaching an agreement with the Roads and Buildings Department regarding infrastructure improvements at the college. The accord specifies clear deadlines for completion of pending development projects on campus.

The students had been staging demonstrations to press their demands for better facilities and timely completion of ongoing construction work. Their grievances included delays in infrastructure development that they said were affecting their academic experience and campus life.

Under the agreement reached between college administration, student representatives, and the R&B Department, authorities have committed to delivering infrastructure enhancements within defined timeframes. The deal is expected to address key areas of concern that prompted the student agitation.

With the accord in place, normal academic activities at GMC Jagtial are expected to resume without disruption. The development marks a resolution to weeks of tension between the student body and administrative authorities over campus facilities.
