Telangana Police Dismantle Drug Syndicate Run by Former Security Guard

Telangana's specialized EAGLE Force has successfully dismantled a drug trafficking operation following an intensive 60-day investigation. The network was headed by a former security guard who orchestrated the distribution of marijuana across multiple markets in the state.

The syndicate operated a systematic distribution model designed to maximize market penetration and profitability. Each kilogram of marijuana was repackaged into approximately 150 smaller units, each sold for ₹300, enabling broad street-level distribution across various localities.

The arrests mark a significant success for the state's drug enforcement efforts. The EAGLE Force, Telangana's specialized anti-narcotics unit, has been instrumental in targeting large-scale trafficking operations that threaten public health and social order.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to identify additional network members and determine the source of the marijuana supply. The case highlights how organized drug distribution networks employ efficient operational models to sustain large-scale trafficking activities in urban and semi-urban areas.
