The multi-sport event will bring together young athletes from across the country to compete in various disciplines, reinforcing India's commitment to grassroots sports development and talent identification.

Officials have been working on transport connectivity, security measures, and medical facilities to support the large influx of participants, coaches, and spectators expected during the games.

The Khelo India Youth Games represent an important platform for emerging athletes to gain competitive experience and attract attention from national sports selectors. The event aligns with the government's broader initiative to promote sports at the grassroots level and encourage participation among India's youth population.

Hosting such major sporting events typically provides states with opportunities to enhance their sports ecosystem, improve athletic facilities, and generate economic activity through tourism and ancillary services. The games are expected to draw considerable participation from states across India, making this a major sporting calendar fixture for the nation.
