Telangana to hold special voter enrollment camps this weekend

The Election Commission of India's Telangana office will organize dedicated voter enrollment camps on October 15 and 16 to assist citizens who were inadvertently left off the electoral roll. The initiative aims to ensure comprehensive voter participation ahead of upcoming elections.

Eligible applicants can register as first-time voters during these special camps. Additionally, prospective electors have the option to submit Form-6, the standard application for voter enrollment, to complete their registration.

Although the formal claims and objections period for the electoral roll has concluded, officials have extended the enrollment window until November 7. This extended deadline allows additional time for citizens to ensure their names appear on the voter register.

The camps represent the electoral authority's effort to maximize voter inclusion and address gaps in the existing roll. Citizens interested in registering are advised to visit the designated camps with necessary identification documents during the specified dates.
