Telangana is set to host the first edition of the Raksha Expo, a state-level exhibition dedicated to the aerospace, space, defence and internal security sectors, beginning December 7. The three-day event will be held at Bharat Future City on the outskirts of Hyderabad, positioning the state as a hub for defence and advanced technology sectors.
The expo will run parallel to the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026, combining investment promotion with sectoral showcases. This strategic alignment aims to attract major players from the defence and aerospace industries while leveraging the platform to highlight business opportunities in Telangana.
The state has increasingly positioned itself as a centre for high-technology manufacturing and innovation. The expo represents an effort to consolidate Telangana's standing in defence and space technology sectors, sectors that have seen significant policy focus and infrastructure development across India in recent years.
The event is expected to draw exhibitors, investors and stakeholders from India and abroad, providing a platform for networking, technology transfer and business partnerships. Further details regarding participation categories, registration and scheduled events are anticipated in the coming weeks.
