Telangana to showcase poultry sector growth at 18th India Expo

Telangana will host the 18th edition of Poultry India Expo, cementing the state's status as one of the country's leading poultry production hubs. The three-day exposition, scheduled from November 25-27, is expected to draw industry stakeholders, producers, and traders from across India and beyond.

The expo has experienced remarkable expansion over the past decade and a half. When first held in 2007, the event occupied just 3,500 square metres across a single exhibition hall. The latest edition will sprawl across 35,000 square metres distributed over seven halls, representing a tenfold increase in scale and capacity.

Telangana's emergence as a major poultry production centre reflects the state's investment in animal husbandry and agricultural infrastructure. The expo serves as a platform for showcasing innovations, technology adoption, and best practices in the poultry sector, while facilitating business connections among producers, suppliers, and buyers.

The event is anticipated to highlight developments in poultry farming techniques, feed production, processing technologies, and disease management strategies. It will provide industry participants an opportunity to assess market trends and explore new business opportunities in India's growing poultry sector.
