Tesla's refreshed Model Y variant now delivers enhanced acceleration performance without compromising on range specifications, the company announced. The updated model continues to offer a claimed range of 681 kilometres on a full charge, maintaining consistency with previous iterations.
A key highlight for prospective buyers is the rapid charging capability. The vehicle can be charged for just 15 minutes to provide a driving range of 288 kilometres, making it suitable for users seeking quick turnaround times between charging sessions.
To improve accessibility for Indian consumers, Tesla has structured flexible financing options. The automaker is offering a down payment starting at Rs 6.5 lakh, with the remaining amount available through equated monthly instalments (EMI). This financing structure aims to make the premium electric vehicle more accessible to a broader segment of buyers in the Indian market.
The upgrade reflects Tesla's ongoing efforts to refine its mass-market electric vehicle offerings in India, where demand for premium EVs has been gradually increasing despite challenges in charging infrastructure and competitive pricing from other manufacturers.
