Tessolve pursues dual acquisitions, targets $500mn revenue milestone

Tessolve, a venture of Hero Electronix, is actively engaged in acquisition discussions to accelerate its growth trajectory in the semiconductor sector. Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer Srini Chinamilli confirmed the firm is in advanced talks with prospective targets across two geographies, though he declined to identify the companies under negotiation.

"We are talking to one company in the US, and there is one local company as well," Chinamilli said in an interview. According to the executive, one transaction is expected to reach completion within the coming months, while the second deal should be finalised by the end of the current financial year.

Tessolve's acquisition strategy focuses on expanding its technological capabilities and geographic footprint rather than pursuing growth through scale alone. The company's recent purchase of Germany-based chip design firm Dream Chip exemplifies this approach, adding specialised engineering expertise to its existing portfolio.

The dual acquisitions align with Tessolve's medium-term expansion plans as India's semiconductor sector gains momentum. The company's aggressive revenue target underscores the growing appetite among Indian technology firms to establish themselves as significant players in global semiconductor engineering and design services.
