Provincial authorities outlined plans for the Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival 2026 during an international press conference in Hanoi on October 1, signalling the region's commitment to leveraging its tea heritage for economic development. Vice Chairwoman of the Thai Nguyen provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Loan announced the festival will honour the contributions of artisans, farmers, cooperatives and businesses instrumental in preserving and advancing the province's tea sector.
