Thailand is pursuing an integrated three-pillar economic strategy designed to generate fresh growth momentum as the country capitalizes on improved political conditions. Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul highlighted how the nation's current political stability provides essential groundwork for consistent execution of economic policies and structural reforms necessary to compete in evolving global markets.

Tourism represents a cornerstone of the initiative, with Thailand setting an ambitious target of attracting 11 million long-haul visitors by 2027. The projection reflects confidence in the country's recovery and expansion of its international visitor base following recent challenges in the travel sector.

Agriculture has been identified as a second key economic pillar, underscoring the government's commitment to strengthening the rural economy and ensuring the sector remains competitive. This focus addresses both domestic food security and export opportunities in regional and global markets.

Environmental sustainability forms the third pillar, with the government establishing dedicated task forces to combat illegal e-waste imports. The move reflects Thailand's efforts to protect its environment while positioning the country as a responsible regional actor on waste management and environmental protection issues.

The coordinated approach aims to create complementary economic benefits across multiple sectors while maintaining macroeconomic stability. Officials believe the strategy will enable Thailand to navigate current global uncertainties and achieve sustained development in coming years.
