The Transport Ministry issued directives to all domestic and international carriers operating within Thai airspace to implement enhanced safety measures in anticipation of the approaching storm system. The precautionary orders take effect on October 4 and remain in place through October 7, covering the anticipated period of heaviest weather activity.

Airlines have been required to coordinate closely with meteorological agencies to monitor real-time weather developments and adjust flight schedules accordingly. The ministry has advised carriers to increase staffing at operational centers and ensure aircraft maintenance teams are fully prepared to address weather-related issues.

Passengers have been notified of potential flight delays and cancellations, with airlines offering rebooking options and alternative travel arrangements. The Transport Ministry emphasized that while commercial aviation is expected to continue, flight operations may be subject to temporary suspensions or route diversions should conditions deteriorate.

Thailand's aviation authority stressed that the precautionary measures are consistent with international safety standards and are designed to minimize risks to passengers and crew. The ministry will maintain continuous coordination with weather agencies to assess conditions and adjust protocols as needed throughout the four-day period.
