Thieves steal luxury watches worth ₹3 crore from Jaipur store

Unidentified thieves broke into 'The Watch Factory', an official Rado retailer on Tonk Road in Jaipur, during early morning hours on Wednesday, stealing luxury watches valued at approximately ₹3 crore. The burglars employed a sophisticated approach, first draping cloth over the storefront to shield their activities from public view before forcibly breaking through the store's metal shutter.

Once inside, the thieves systematically filled bags with around 251 premium timepieces before fleeing the scene. The entire operation was captured by the store's CCTV surveillance system, providing investigators with detailed footage of the incident and the suspects' movements.

Jaipur police have initiated a formal investigation into the high-value theft. Authorities are studying the video recordings to identify the perpetrators and determine whether the heist was carried out by an organized gang or individuals with specific knowledge of the store's inventory and security arrangements. The force is also examining whether the theft is linked to other recent burglaries in the area.

Luxury watch showrooms in major Indian cities have faced increasing targeting by organized theft rings in recent months, prompting retailers to enhance security protocols and coordination with law enforcement agencies.
