Thousands gather in Haryana for three-day Islamic congregation

The Tablighi Ijtema, a major Islamic congregation, officially commenced in Rana Majra village in Haryana's Panipat district on Tuesday, drawing large numbers of participants from across the country and overseas. The three-day event has attracted considerable attendance as devotees gathered to hear religious addresses and engage in collective worship.

Despite treacherous travel conditions, attendees from Uttar Pradesh crossed the Yamuna River to reach the congregation venue. Many undertook hazardous journeys to participate in the religious gathering, underscoring the significance of the event for the attendees.

Maulana Saad, a prominent religious leader, was among the key speakers addressing the assembled crowd. The congregation serves as a platform for Islamic religious discourse and community engagement, drawing participants with deep commitment to the faith.

The Tablighi Ijtema is one of the largest Islamic gatherings in South Asia, traditionally held annually and known for mobilizing devotees from diverse geographical regions. This year's gathering in Panipat continues the tradition of bringing together believers for spiritual renewal and religious instruction.
