MANILA — More than 1,500 passengers had passed through a Victory Liner terminal in Quezon City by 8 a.m. on All Saints' Day, as families rushed to complete travel plans for the holiday period.
Terminal coordinator Arnel Macaspac confirmed the passenger volume, noting the influx reflected the annual pattern of Filipinos using the Undas observance to visit provincial hometowns and pay respects to departed loved ones.
The busy terminal underscored the continued reliance on bus services for inter-regional travel during peak holiday periods. Victory Liner operates one of the country's largest provincial bus networks, servicing routes across Luzon and connecting major urban centers to remote communities.
All Saints' Day remains one of the Philippines' most significant holidays, traditionally observed with family gatherings, cemetery visits, and provincial trips. The holiday period typically sees sustained demand for transportation services as urban workers and residents return to their hometowns.
