Three arrested in Gurugram woman's murder over property dispute

Gurugram police have arrested three individuals in connection with the murder of a woman allegedly triggered by a property dispute in the city. The suspects have been identified as Sandeep, a former army soldier, and two contract killers named Avinash and Anuj, police said.

Sandeep, who hailed from Daulah, is believed to have orchestrated the killing, while Avinash and Anuj, both residents of Roorkee in Uttarakhand, were hired to carry out the crime. Investigators said the property dispute formed the motive behind the murder.

The arrests mark a significant development in the case, with law enforcement officials continuing their investigation to establish the complete sequence of events leading to the woman's death. Police are also examining the financial transactions and communications between the accused to build a stronger case.

The case has drawn attention to the use of contract killers in settling property disputes in the National Capital Region. Authorities have intensified efforts to tackle organized crime and hired killings in Gurugram, which has witnessed a surge in such incidents in recent years.
