BACOLOD CITY — Three young boys have died from dengue fever in separate incidents across Bacolod and Silay cities, spurring local health officials to ramp up disease control efforts. The victims, aged between 8 and 11 years old, succumbed to the illness during mid-September, with one death reported in Silay City and two in Bacolod City, according to statements from health authorities released Wednesday.
