The incident took place around 3:30 pm on a railway bridge spanning the Lucknow-Sultanpur railway line in the Sushant Golf City police station jurisdiction. A Bolero utility vehicle, travelling at high speed, suddenly veered out of control and struck the central divider with significant force, officials said.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene within minutes of receiving distress calls. Three occupants of the vehicle were pronounced dead at the scene, while ten others sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious. The injured were transported to nearby medical facilities for treatment.

Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the circumstances leading to the accident. Preliminary findings suggest that driver error and excessive speed may have contributed to the loss of vehicle control. Authorities are examining whether mechanical failure or adverse road conditions played any role in the incident.

The accident caused considerable traffic disruption in the area as emergency personnel cleared the wreckage from the bridge. Lucknow traffic police have appealed to motorists to exercise caution and adhere to speed limits on highways and overpasses. Officials indicated that further details would be released as the investigation progresses.
