Three members of a family died in a residential fire that engulfed a two-storey terrace house in Ipoh early today. The fire spread rapidly through the property, destroying much of its interior before firefighters could bring it under control.
A fourth occupant of the household survived the incident. The individual had been sleeping in the parking area of the residence at the time the fire broke out, positioning them away from the main structure and allowing them to escape without injury.
