Three killed in vehicle accident on Sabah coastal road

Three people have died and three others sustained injuries following a road accident in Kunak, Sabah on Friday. The incident occurred when a Perodua Viva lost control and skidded off the Kunak-Semporna road, a key coastal route in the eastern state. The vehicle subsequently collided with roadside obstacles, resulting in the fatal crash.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and provided immediate assistance to those injured in the accident. The three injured individuals were transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment of their injuries. Details regarding the severity of their conditions were not immediately disclosed.
Investigations into the cause of the accident are ongoing. Authorities have not yet determined whether factors such as road conditions, vehicle malfunction, or driver error contributed to the incident.
