Three men allege torture at BJP MLA's residence in Uttar Pradesh

Three men in Moradabad have accused aides of a BJP MLA of inflicting torture at the legislator's residence, according to complaints filed with local authorities. The complainants have alleged they were subjected to severe physical abuse, including being suspended upside down and administered electric shocks.

The allegations name six identified persons, including associates of the MLA, along with nine unidentified individuals as alleged perpetrators. The complainants have sought registration of a formal First Information Report (FIR) against all named and unknown suspects involved in the incident.

Despite the serious nature of the allegations, police have not yet initiated formal proceedings. SP (Rural) Kunwar Akash Singh confirmed that no case has been registered in connection with the complaint as of the latest update.

The incident highlights renewed scrutiny of abuse allegations involving political figures and their associates in the state. Authorities have not provided details regarding the timeline of the alleged torture or the current status of the investigation.
