Three steel factory workers killed in Jharkhand fire incident
A fire at a steel manufacturing unit in Ramgarh district, Jharkhand claimed three lives early Saturday. The blaze originated in the facility's captive power plant late Friday night, leaving one worker injured.

Three employees of Maa Chinnamastika Ispat steel factory in Helal, Ramgarh district, died from severe burn injuries sustained in a fire that broke out just after midnight Friday. A fourth worker was also injured in the incident, according to police officials.
Ramgarh Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Lunayat confirmed the fatalities in a statement Saturday. The deceased have been identified as Sanjeev, Vinit and Abhishek. All three succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital.
The fire originated in the captive power plant section of the steel factory and spread rapidly through the facility. Eyewitnesses reported that a significant number of workers were present at the plant at the time of the incident. Police said the exact cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Factory authorities have initiated a formal inquiry into the incident. Chief Factory Inspector Manish Sinha stated that a two-member investigation team comprising a factory inspector and a Chotanagpur deputy chief inspector has been dispatched to the site to conduct a detailed examination of the circumstances surrounding the fire.
