Tickner confident New Zealand can trouble Kohli in second ODI
New Zealand fast bowler Blair Tickner has framed the prospect of facing Virat Kohli in Saturday's second ODI as an exciting challenge, while acknowledging the former India captain's ability to exert pressure on opposition attacks.

Tickner believes the Kiwis have the skills to dismiss Kohli despite his impressive performance in the first match, where he played a key role in India's successful run chase. "It's an awesome opportunity to play against him," Tickner said, adding that New Zealand remain confident in their ability to get him out.
India won the opening ODI at a revised target of 144 under the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method, overhauling it in 22.4 overs to secure victory by five wickets. New Zealand had been restricted to 185 in 40.2 overs in a rain-affected contest.
While acknowledging Kohli's quality as a batter capable of putting bowlers under pressure, Tickner indicated that New Zealand will look to improve their bowling efficiency and batting performance in the second encounter. The team hopes to post a larger total and execute a more effective bowling plan to restrict India's scoring.
