TinkerHub to launch overnight hackathon in Kozhikode with travel theme

TinkerHub, a technology community platform, is set to host an overnight hackathon in Kozhikode, Kerala, bringing together young innovators for a collaborative coding challenge. The event is open to students and non-working youth aged between 15 and 25 years, with no registration fees required.

Participants will be tasked with creating projects based on the broad theme of travel, encouraging them to leverage technology to address challenges or opportunities in the travel and mobility sectors. The overnight format will push participants to rapidly ideate, develop, and present functional prototypes within a compressed timeframe.

Hackathons have emerged as popular platforms across South Asia for nurturing technical talent and fostering innovation among young people. These events provide networking opportunities and exposure to industry practitioners, helping participants develop practical problem-solving skills beyond traditional classroom learning.

The Kozhikode event underscores growing efforts in Kerala's startup and tech ecosystems to engage youth in digital innovation. Such initiatives aim to channel creative energy toward developing solutions that address real-world needs while building a pipeline of tech-savvy professionals for the region's growing digital economy.
