Tirumala police deny vehicle restrictions during Brahmotsavams festival

Police in Tirupati have categorically denied reports circulating on social media suggesting restrictions on private vehicles during the Tirumala Brahmotsavams festival. Superintendent of Police Subbarayudu condemned the misleading posts, clarifying that no such limitations have been imposed on pilgrims' movement during the religious celebrations.

The police official stated that a case would be filed against those responsible for the false campaign, which he characterised as a malicious effort to spread misinformation. Subbarayudu urged devotees and pilgrims not to give credence to unsubstantiated claims circulating online regarding travel arrangements during the festival.

The Brahmotsavams, one of the most significant religious festivals at the Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala, attract lakhs of devotees from across India and abroad. The police advisory comes as the festival season approaches, with authorities seeking to prevent panic or confusion among pilgrims planning their visits.

Authorities have advised the public to rely only on official announcements from temple management and police departments for accurate information regarding festival arrangements, traffic management, and facilities available during the celebrations.
