Tiruvannamalai opens nine centres for persons with disabilities

The district collector of Tiruvannamalai formally opened nine social care centres dedicated to serving persons with disabilities on Tuesday, marking an expansion of welfare infrastructure in the district. The facilities are designed to offer comprehensive support services including rehabilitation, skill development, and community integration programmes for individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.

The newly inaugurated centres are strategically distributed across the district to improve accessibility for beneficiaries in both urban and rural areas.
