Tottenham Hotspur is moving closer to securing Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush from Manchester City as the London club continues its ambitious transfer activity this window. The deal would see Marmoush join on a season-long loan with an obligation to make the move permanent for £60 million.
The pursuit of Marmoush comes shortly after Spurs completed the signing of Brazilian winger Savio, signalling manager Ange Postecoglou's intent to strengthen the club's attacking options. Marmoush, who joined Manchester City last summer, has featured sparingly for the Premier League champions and represents an opportunity for both clubs to facilitate a fresh arrangement.
