Zudio, the budget-friendly fashion brand operated by Trent Ltd, has crossed the 1,000-store mark in India, the company announced on Saturday. The achievement underscores the rapid expansion of the retail chain since its inception in 2016, with its network now spanning more than 300 cities across the country.
The brand has served over 100 million customers during its decade-long journey, cementing its position in the value-fashion retail space. Zudio's success reflects growing consumer demand for affordable apparel and accessories across Indian markets, from major metropolitan centres to smaller towns.
Trent Ltd operates multiple retail formats alongside Zudio, including Westside, a large-format fashion store that operates 301 outlets as of June 30, 2026. The company also operates 29 stores under other lifestyle concepts, with its combined fashion retail footprint exceeding 18 million square feet. Additionally, Trent has diversified into grocery retail through its Star brand.
In the fiscal year ending June 2026, Trent reported total revenue of Rs 19,701.41 crore, reflecting the company's broad retail portfolio. The expansion of Zudio demonstrates the group's ability to cater to diverse consumer segments, from value-conscious shoppers to premium fashion customers through its various brands.
