A robot has been deployed at Little India MRT station to help commuters navigate the transport hub and access real-time travel updates during a 12-day trial period. The droid will operate on weekdays between 10am and 12pm as part of a test run on the Downtown Line. The initiative aims to enhance passenger experience by providing on-demand assistance at one of Singapore's busier interchange stations. The robot's functions include helping travellers find their way through the station, offering directions to connecting transport links, and delivering current journey information. Transport authorities will monitor the trial's effectiveness in improving customer service delivery and passenger satisfaction at the station.
