Triumph has lifted the curtain on its revamped Tiger 1200 adventure motorcycle, marking a significant upgrade to the British marque's flagship middleweight tourer. The next-generation model is scheduled for release in 2025 and will be available across multiple variants to suit different markets and rider preferences.
At the heart of the updated Tiger 1200 lies a potent 1160cc engine that produces 158 horsepower—a power output comparable to several entry-level automobiles. This substantial performance enhancement underscores Triumph's commitment to delivering both capability and excitement in the adventure touring segment.
The global rollout will see the Tiger 1200 offered in four distinct variants, each tailored to specific regional preferences and market demands. In India, where adventure tourism and long-distance touring continue to gain popularity among enthusiasts, Triumph plans to introduce two locally-focused variants.
The motorcycle is expected to feature modern technology including radar systems and advanced electronic aids, positioning it as a premium offering in the middleweight adventure category. These additions aim to enhance safety, comfort, and rideability for touring riders tackling diverse terrain and riding conditions across the Indian subcontinent and beyond.
