Tropical Depression Pilandok Holds Strength East of Northern Luzon

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported that Pilandok was located approximately 1,160 kilometers east of Extreme Northern Luzon as of its 11 a.m. weather bulletin Monday. The weather system has shown little forward movement while preserving its strength over the Philippine Sea.

Pagesa's monitoring indicated that the tropical depression maintained consistent wind patterns and structural integrity, though it remained positioned well offshore and away from major population centers. The agency continued to track the system's movement and intensity as it persisted over open waters.

The state weather bureau advised mariners and coastal communities to monitor updates on Pilandok's potential track, though its current remote location over the Philippine Sea posed minimal immediate threat to populated areas. Pagasa indicated it would issue regular weather bulletins tracking any changes to the system's movement or strength.
