The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported Monday morning that Tropical Depression Pilandok has strengthened slightly, with maximum sustained wind speeds reaching 55 kilometers per hour as it moves over waters off the northern Philippines.
The weather system continues to track across the Philippine Sea, maintaining its easterly location relative to Extreme Northern Luzon. Pagasa's latest assessment indicates the tropical depression is expected to exit the Philippine area of responsibility by Wednesday evening, marking the conclusion of its passage through the region.
