The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration reported that the low-pressure area previously positioned off Itbayat in Batanes has dissipated as of Tuesday afternoon. Meanwhile, Tropical storm Pilandok, internationally designated as Krovanh, continues to move through the Philippine area of responsibility with sustained strength.

In a weather advisory issued at 4 p.m., the state weather agency provided updated information on both weather systems affecting the northern Philippines. The dissipation of the low-pressure area reduces the number of active weather disturbances in the region.

Tropical storm Pilandok remains the primary concern for weather forecasters and residents in areas along its projected path. The agency continues to monitor the system's movement and intensity as it traverses Philippine waters, with further advisories expected as conditions develop.
