Trump posted three separate messages on Truth Social expressing his displeasure with Fox News, linking the network's declining viewership to what he characterised as insufficient support for his political agenda. The posts came as Americans voted in the midterm elections that will determine control of Congress and numerous state offices.
The former president has maintained a complicated relationship with Fox News, once a reliable supporter of his administration. His latest criticism underscores ongoing tensions between Trump and the network as he navigates his political future.
Trump's attack on Fox News reflects broader concerns within his political camp about media coverage and network loyalty. The posts were shared as voting continued across the United States on Tuesday, with major races decided across the country in what analysts view as a critical test of voter sentiment heading toward the 2024 presidential election.
Fox News has not yet responded to Trump's accusations. The network has faced increasing competition from other conservative media outlets in recent months, particularly as it has at times departed from Trump's preferred editorial positions.
