Trump unleashes lengthy social media tirade against television host Maher

Donald Trump took to his Truth Social platform to deliver a lengthy critique of television host Bill Maher, with the post becoming one of the former president's most extended messages on the social media service he launched following his suspension from mainstream platforms.

The post reflected Trump's continued engagement with public figures through his alternative social media channel, which has served as his primary communication tool since his removal from conventional social networks in the wake of the January 6, 2021 Capitol incident.

Truth Social, which Trump established through Trump Media & Technology Group, has become a significant outlet for the former president's political commentary and responses to media figures and opponents. The platform has attracted millions of users seeking an alternative to mainstream social networks.

The extended nature of Trump's message underscored his willingness to engage in detailed public exchanges with media personalities. Maher, a prominent television host and political commentator, has frequently been the subject of criticism from political figures across the spectrum throughout his career in broadcast media.
