TTD deploys robotic dog to enhance wildlife monitoring and shrine security

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which oversees one of India's most visited religious sites, has begun field trials of an advanced robotic dog equipped with AI capabilities to enhance surveillance and safety measures across its extensive grounds. The autonomous unit is designed to navigate the temple complex while monitoring environmental conditions and potential security threats, reducing reliance on traditional patrol methods.

The robotic dog can traverse difficult terrain and access areas that may be challenging for human personnel, making it particularly suited for wildlife monitoring in the densely forested regions surrounding the sacred shrine. Equipped with sensors and imaging technology, the device can identify and track animal movement while collecting real-time data on the sanctuary's ecosystem.
