Tuanku Muhriz denies Conference of Rulers invite, won't attend

Tuanku Muhriz has dismissed reports that he received an invitation to the Conference of Rulers meeting, stating categorically that he will not be attending the gathering.

The Negeri Sembilan ruler said his schedule is committed to other important matters at the state level, particularly the Jelebu undang proclamation ceremony, which requires his presence and attention.

The clarification comes as the Conference of Rulers prepares for its upcoming session. Tuanku Muhriz's absence marks a notable development, though the ruler did not elaborate on the circumstances surrounding the reported invitation.

The Conference of Rulers, comprising the country's nine sultans and four appointed rulers, regularly convenes to discuss matters of national importance and constitutional significance.
