TVK functionary held in Karur stampede case, sent to judicial custody

A functionary of the Tamil Maanila Congress (Moopanar) party, identified as V.P. Mathiyazhagan, Karur West district secretary, has been taken into judicial custody for 15 days in relation to the Karur stampede incident. The arrest follows an earlier detention of the primary accused in the case.
