TVS Motor targets 30% international revenue through global model expansion

The Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer used Europe's premier motorcycle exhibition to showcase its latest models designed for international consumers, underscoring its commitment to establishing a stronger presence beyond India's domestic market.

TVS Motor's exhibition at EICMA 2026 reflects the company's broader internationalisation strategy, which includes expanding its retail footprint across Europe. The unveiling of four production-ready models positions TVS to capture market share in developed economies where premium and mid-range motorcycle segments present significant growth opportunities.

The company's target of securing 30 per cent of revenue from international markets by 2030 represents a substantial increase from current levels, requiring sustained investment in product development, distribution infrastructure, and brand positioning in overseas territories.

The move aligns with TVS Motor's long-term vision to transform from a primarily India-focused manufacturer into a truly global player. European expansion is particularly strategic for the company, as the region offers stable regulatory frameworks, quality-conscious consumers, and established distribution channels that complement TVS's manufacturing capabilities.
