The Central Narcotics Bureau (CNB) has arrested two individuals after uncovering an attempted drug smuggling operation at Tuas Checkpoint. Officers intercepted the suspects during a routine check, leading to the discovery of controlled substances with an estimated street value exceeding $1 million.
In addition to the drug haul, CNB officers recovered $33,086 in cash during the operation. Both men are currently assisting authorities with investigations into the smuggling attempt.
