Two drug suspects arrested in Quezon; shabu, firearms seized

LUCENA CITY — Two individuals suspected of drug pushing were taken into custody during separate police operations in Quezon province on Monday, provincial authorities reported. The arrests were carried out by operatives of the Police Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit under the command of Col. Romulo Albacea, Quezon police chief.
During the enforcement operations, police seized suspected shabu valued at more than P360,000 and recovered two unlicensed firearms. The confiscated items have been turned over to appropriate authorities for further investigation and processing.
The operations underscore the police's continued crackdown on illegal drug trafficking and unauthorized possession of firearms in Quezon province. Authorities did not immediately disclose additional details regarding the identities of the suspects or the locations where the arrests occurred.
