Two firecracker factory blasts in Bulacan leave no casualties

Two separate explosions at firecracker manufacturing facilities in Bulacan province Tuesday morning posed no threat to human life, authorities said. The first blast occurred shortly after 10 a.m. at an improvised factory housed in a shanty structure in Sitio Caculisan, Barangay Bambang in Bocaue. Three workers managed to evacuate the premises before the explosion took place. A second explosion was reported later at another firecracker factory in Baliwag City, though details on that incident remain limited. Camp Gen. Alejo Santos authorities confirmed no injuries were sustained in either incident. The incidents underscore ongoing concerns about makeshift firecracker production facilities operating in residential and commercial areas throughout the province. Local officials have not yet released details on the cause of either explosion or the extent of structural damage to the facilities.
