Two foreigners arrested in Delhi-NCR drug trafficking ring using business visas

Police in Greater Noida's Surajpur area have dismantled a drug trafficking network operated by two foreign citizens who exploited business visa provisions to establish a narcotics distribution base in the Delhi-National Capital Region. The arrests come after authorities recovered 600 grams of MDMA, commonly known as ecstasy, during a raid.

According to police investigations, the two suspects had rented studio apartments at multiple locations across Delhi-NCR, operating what authorities describe as a sophisticated supply operation. Rather than relying on traditional distribution channels, the network leveraged digital platforms to connect with customers and arrange deliveries.

The suspects allegedly used social media platforms to identify potential buyers and coordinate transactions. Drugs were subsequently delivered to rave parties and social gatherings through online applications and bike-taxi services, enabling them to maintain operational distance while reaching their target clientele.

The case highlights the evolving tactics employed by drug traffickers in major metropolitan areas, particularly their use of legitimate business visas and ride-hailing services to obscure illegal operations. Authorities have launched further investigations to identify suppliers, customers, and any additional network members involved in the operation.
