Two former Felda officials to face charges over KL Vertical City project

PUTRAJAYA — The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) said two individuals under investigation for alleged misappropriation connected to the Kuala Lumpur Vertical City project will be charged in court next week.
Chief Commissioner Azam Baki confirmed the development at a briefing in Putrajaya on Wednesday, indicating that the MACC's investigation into the matter has reached an advanced stage.
The Kuala Lumpur Vertical City project, a mixed-use development initiative in the nation's capital, has come under scrutiny as part of broader oversight of major infrastructure and property ventures involving government-linked entities.
The MACC did not immediately disclose the specific amounts involved or provide additional details about the allegations. The individuals' identities were also withheld pending formal charges.
