Two mechanics charged over illegal Second Link highway race

KULAI, Aug 27 — Two mechanics appeared before the Magistrate's Court here today to answer charges related to their involvement in an illegal racing incident on the Second Link highway.
The accused, one of whom is a person with disabilities (PwD), both pleaded not guilty to the charges and elected to proceed with trial. The case centres on allegations of reckless riding during an unsanctioned street race that took place on the major expressway linking Malaysia and Singapore.
