MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — Police have filed charges against two men caught allegedly damaging a concrete slope protection structure along Sapang Balen Creek in Barangay San Nicolas, Angeles City, according to Col. Robert Domingo, officer-in-charge of the Angeles City Police Office.

The suspects were apprehended while reportedly attempting to dismantle a portion of the creek's concrete reinforcement, with apparent intent to steal steel bar components from the structure. The incident was reported to authorities, leading to the filing of formal charges against the accused individuals.

Col. Domingo confirmed the development in a statement to media on Saturday, September 5. The specific charges filed against the two men are being pursued by the local police office in coordination with relevant city authorities.

The Sapang Balen Creek slope protection project is part of infrastructure development in the Angeles City area.
