DON CARLOS, Bukidnon — Two men were hacked and injured during a late-night drinking spree in Purok 5, Barangay Mahayahay on Saturday, according to police authorities.
The attack occurred at approximately 11:45 p.m. while the victims were having a drinking session with family members. Don Carlos Municipal Police Station (MPS) Chief Maj. Al-Nico Haman said the assailant was an intoxicated neighbor who turned violent during the gathering.
Both victims sustained injuries to their shoulders from the hacking attack. Police have launched an investigation into the incident, though details regarding the motive behind the attack and the current status of the suspect remain unclear.
